.) A rectangular lot is 102 by 296 feet. Find the length of the diagonal and the angles it makes with the longest side.
.) A telegraph pole is braced by wires from the ground which are attached at a point 18.6 feet up the pole. Find the length of a wire that makes and angle of 26°20' with the vertical.
.) One of the equal sides on an isosceles triangle triangle is 6.73 inches and one of the base angles is 27°10'. Find the base and altitude.
.) A 36-foot ladder is used to reach the top of a 28-foot wall. If the ladder extends 2 feet past the top of the wall, find its inclination to the horizontal.
.) A piece of wire 24.78 inches long is bent so as to form an isosceles triangle with one angle 97°26'. Find the length of each side of the triangle formed.
.)  From a point on the ground 152.3 feet away from the foot of a flagpole, the angle of elevation of the top of the pole is 31°46'. How high is the flagpole? Hint: When the object observed is above the horizontal plane, the angle between the line of sight from the eye to the object and the horizontal is called the angle of elevation. When the object observed is below the horizontal plane, the angle is called the angle of depression.
.) From a light house 75.3 feet above the level of the water, the angle of depression of a boat is 23°40'. How far is the boat from a point at water level directly under the point of observation?
.) Find the height of a balloon directly above a town A if the angle of depression of town B, 6.23 miles from A, is 15°20'.
